| Childs to lead Conductors Workshop Downunder |
| Dr Robert Childs, Principal Conductor of the Grimethorpe Colliery Band is to deliver a Conductors Workshop directly after the 2014 Australian National Band Championships in Brisbane. |

The Workshop will run directly after the Championships from Tuesday 22nd April - Thursday 24th April 2014. Robert commented,
"I'm really looking forward to returning to Australia. I'm travelling out the week before the championships and working with several brass bands helping them polish their performances for the Contest. I'll be visiting Sydney and Melbourne prior to my work in Brisbane."
Speaking on behalf of the Buffet Wind Group (Besson) Stephen Moschner said, "It's wonderful Bob has agreed to visit us again. Any bands or individuals who would like to be considered for his expert tuition should contact me as soon as possible."
