Cory in Concert with the Royal Philharmonic
On Saturday 28th July the Cory band will be sharing the stage with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Last Night of the Welsh Proms



Having made highly succesful appearances at the Welsh Proms in recent years, the Cory Band have once again been invited to celebrate the spirit of the Lloyds TSB Welsh Proms Cardiff in an evening of pure enjoyment. The Royal Philharmonic and Cory are set to let down their hair for the best party in town!

The Concert will also feature flute soloist Sharon Bezaly and amongst the repertoire to be performed will be Carmen Fantasy, Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 and Gareth Wood's Songs of Wales - a great showpiece of all-time favourites and melodies that will inspire a true Welsh hwyl.



Cory will be performing several joint items with the RPO, but the band will also be showcased on their own in the form of Berlioz' Le Carnival Romain featuring euphonium soloist David Childs.
